Is your hamburger worth $50,000?

Could your famous backyard burger recipe be worth $50,000? It just might be if you impress the judges of the 15th annual Build a Better Burger contest. Last year’s winner Clint Stephenson of Friendswood Texas stole the show with his creation, the Grilled Avocado BLT burger. If you’re not a beef eater, there’s even a $10,000 prize for the best alternative burger, which I assumes means a burger made out of turkey or chicken and not one sporting black fingernails and and a blue mohawk. All finalists get a trip to Nappa Valey to compete in the final head to head cookoff, where even the runners up get $500. So enter now, the deadline is August 26th, 2005.
