Gas Grill Oven Plate
The Gas Grill Oven Plate from Grill Innovations is s specially designed aluminum cooking plate designed to allow you to back a variety of foods on your gas grill, as if it were an oven.
The plate measures 16×12 inches, and is about 1 inch thick. It has sort of a double walled bottom that retains heat, but avoids overheating the bottom of the food. Basically, you pre-heat your grill to whatever backing temperature you need then place the plate on the grate, add your food and off you go.
The manufacturer has tips for grill-baking a variety of different foods on their website, everything from pies and cookies to lasagna.
