I’ve tried a number of those propane accessories that are supposed to tell you how much is left in the tank, but none work as well as GasWatch. It’s an actual inline gauge, not some liquid crystal sticker. Just put it inline between your tank and your regulator and you are done.

Absolutely worthless. You still run out, but now you know approximately when. Use the $20 to buy a second tank.
God, I need one of those. None that I have work well, ever. Its like it goes from completely full to completely empty in no time flat.
Follow Winston’s advice. I bought this device for my full tank and the next day the tank was “low”. Then after 10m of BBQ it was empty. When I put the guage on a 2nd tank I could smell gas leaking from the device.
