the grill grate is not a true convection plate. it may prevents flare ups when grilling. i have been useing a thing called “the grill plate” and have had awsome results from it! it makes your gas grill a true convection oven for the outdoors. i was sceptical at first but after reading about it i had to try it. so far i’ve cooked lasagna, meatloaf, cookies, pies and even a 16 lbs turkey with stuffing last week (which was rock’n good). it seems anything i can cook in my oven i can now cook outside, a good thing since i live in the south. this is the web site i found mine at GRILLINNOVATIONS.COM it’s worth the money because i now have an outdoor convection oven and grill all in one.

umm, if you find a way to heat things through “convention” let me know… I have been grilling some things through CONVECTION, but a convention grill might be neat

i have a barbeque stand with gas accessories. i do not have the grill grate at present. i am looking for a grill grate. do you have grill grates that one can buy. i need a round one. if you can help i will email you the side.
