I’ve seen a lot of takes on updating the spatula to make it work with fragile items on the grill such as fish and vegetables. This is one of the most unique.

Rather than a very thin and flimsy spatula, “The Grill Spatula” is a heavy duty stainless spatula, with a unique set of teeth and a thin wire across the front. The teeth slide across your grill grate and the wire goes under the food (the spatula comes in two sizes, to accommodate different styles).

The thin wire basically cuts the food away from the grill surface, and works quite well. The manufacturer says the wire should last a lifetime, but if you do manage to break it, they’ll send you another one for just a couple of dollars handling charge.
